Welcome to BIG WIN SportsTM FAQ! Answers to your questions about game play, getting free bucks/coins, missing Big Bucks, game errors, and other game related issues are outlined here.

GAMEPLAY QUESTIONS

How to Change Uniforms/Kits

You need to have kit/jersey cards in your collection to be able to change the team uniforms. If you have a new kit/jersey card, here’s what you do:

  • Go to the MY TEAM screen
  • Tap on the Change Uniforms/Kits button.
  • Scroll right or left to go through your available Uniforms/Kits, tap the Equip button to select

Matchmaking Issues


We do as much as possible to match up players with teams of the same rating, but since we cannot control who is online and want to ensure that you also get a chance to have a match, it is tough to guarantee an exact match with your opponent’s rating.

Higher Rated Teams Occasionally Losing to Low Rated Teams

Our game simulation takes all aspects of the game into consideration including player ratings, their individual abilities and the Big Impact cards that are played. Just like in real life, even the heavily favoured teams can sometimes lose a game. And that can happen in Big Win as well. We have spent months tuning our simulations and the better teams carry a decisive advantage just like they do in real life, but upsets can occur.

How to use the Fountain O Youth Energy Drink

Fountain O’Youth drinks are available when you have a retired player. You can access the drink by following these steps:

  • Go to the MY TEAM screen
  • Tap on the player who has retired (there will be a white exclamation mark in a red circle over his player marker and he will look much older than usual)
  • Tap on the green triangular drink icon on the player card
  • Bring the player out of retirement!

How to Play a Skill Boost


To play a skill boost on a player follow these steps:

  • When you have a skill boost card that can be used, a small red badge will appear on the corner of MY TEAM button on the home screen. If you see a red badge, tap the MY TEAM button.
  • Once in the MY TEAM screen, there may be several players with a red badge beside their player marker. Tap the player with the red marker you wish to boost.
  • Once on the player screen, if a skill boost can be applied to the player, a skill slot will be pulsating with an exclamation mark on it. If you see one, tap it.
  • The game will now show you the available skill boost cards that can be applied on that player. You can now APPLY the boost
  • Once the boost is applied you will see the skill bar grow!

How to use Contract Cards


A contract card is used to bring a player’s skill level back to normal once his current contract runs out. Here are the steps to apply a contract card if a player’s contract has run out:

  • Go to the MY TEAM screen
  • Tap on the player who’s contract has run out (there will be a white exclamation mark in a red circle over his player marker)
  • Tap on the red contract icon on the player card Choose a contract card to renew the player (different cards will have different contract length

How to Add a Skill to a Player

To add a skill to a player follow these steps:

  • If there is an action that can be taken on a player, a small red badge will appear on the corner of MY TEAM button on the home screen. If you see a red badge, tap the MY TEAM button.
  • Once in the MY TEAM screen, tap on a player with a red badge over his player marker.
  •  Once on the player screen, if a skill can be added to a player, a blue question mark badge will appear. If you see one, tap it.
  • The game will now show you the available add skill cards that can be applied on that player. You can now apply the skill.
  • Once the skill is applied you will see its symbol replace the blue circle on the player card.

How to Heal a Player

To heal a player follow these steps:

  • Go to MY TEAM screen
  • Tap on the player who needs healing (there will be a white exclamation mark in a red badge over his player marker)
  • Tap on the red triangular bandage icon on the player card
  • Heal the player!

BIG BUCKS, COINS AND CARD QUESTIONS

No Bucks for Facebook/Twitter Like/Follow

There is an error that some people encounter when they try to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter and we are addressing this issue in an upcoming update. We thank players for their patience in regards to this matter.

Lost Cards on a Crash/Error

If the game crashes right after you have used Big Impact cards and are waiting to play a game, or as you are opening a pack, don’t worry, the cards will not be lost. Your cards can be found in the MY CARDS section of the game. Even though the game froze, the cards should still be in your inventory. Please check in the MY CARDS section to confirm your retention/receipt of the cards.

Missing Big Bucks from In App Purchase?

If you have purchased Big Bucks and they do not show up in your account the first thing to do is restart the app. If you are using an Android device and you do not know how to cold boot/restart the app please ask your provider or search online for the instructions. If you have an Apple device here are the steps to restart:

  • Tap the home button to return to the dashboard
  • Double tap the home button to bring up active apps
  • Hold the Big Win icon with your finger
  • Close the app
  • Restart the app

If your Bucks do not show up you can contact us (see below) with a description of the problem, your Google Play or iTunes receipt, and your team name and password (the 8 character code located in the settings panel on the home screen). Please note that due to the volume of emails it may take a few days to get back to you.

How to Get Free Big Bucks from Tapjoy


Tap on the “Get Free Bucks” button on the home screen of the game. If you go to the very top of the page that opens you will see the Big Win Soccer app icon which will take you to tapjoy.com. Once on their website you simply sign up for free and then you can start downloading other great games to earn free big bucks to use in our game!

How to Get Free Coins

To get free coins in Big Win tap the “get coins” button at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Inside this menu choose the “watch to earn” option and you can earn coins for every movie watched.

Missing Big Bucks from Tapjoy Offers

For some of the larger Tapjoy promotions, especially Netflix, it can take some time to get confirmation. But sometimes the service just gets stuck. The first thing to do is restart the app. If you are using an Android device and you do not know how to cold boot/restart the app please ask your provider or search online for the instructions. If you have an Apple device here are the steps to restart:

  • Tap the home button to return to the dashboard
  • Double tap the home button to bring up active apps
  • Hold the Big Win icon with your finger
  • Close the app
  • Restart the app

In most cases the bucks will appear after a restart. If that does not work, you can contact Tapjoy directly and they should be able to help. Go to the Free Bucks screen in the app, and scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a link that says “Missing Big Bucks?” Click that, and you can fill out a form that will go to Tapjoy so they can investigate further.

Missing Big Bucks on a Crash/Error

OTHER QUESTIONS

Big Win Errors

We work very hard to make sure everyone can connect to our servers and enjoy our games. However, sometimes we experience small hiccups that may affect game play. If you are experiencing an error message you may see any of the following numbers in the bottom right-hand corner of the error message screen: 900, 806, 500, 503, 807. If this is the case we are automatically notified of the issue as it occurs and we work to resolve it as soon as possible. There is nothing wrong with your team. DO NOT REINSTALL THE APP as you will lose your team if you have not recorded your 8 character team password. If you are experiencing an issue and the error code is not one listed here then you will need to contact us. We thank players for their patience and understanding in regards to these matters.

Inappropriate Team Names

We apologize if players have a negative experience with the language in our game. Although we like to think the best of people, it has become clear that inappropriate names are an issue. Here is how to hide other players’ team/player names.

  • From the Main Menu, tap the Options icon on the top left corner of the screen
  • Tap the Name Filter button to turn the option on
  • Now you will not see any opponent team or player name

If you do not have your team password and are looking to retrieve it (lost team) you can contact us at
